Earn a Black Belt in Goshin-Jutsu. Round-Kicks, Spinning-Techniques, and Jumping Chicken Kicks in a skirt, dress slacks with coat & tie, high heels, or for a disabled person just isn’t practical. Also, many folks just want to get to the basics of self-protection. The techniques in this program are taken from the martial arts of T'ai Chi, Wing Chun, Philippine Stick Fighting and Taijutsu. You will learn: • Elbow and knee strikes • Eye gouges, groin strikes and hair-pulling takedowns • Fundamentals of stick-fighting (translates to a walking cane) • Learn to apply leverage instead of strength • Use ink pens and other small articles as weapons Do you have a question about an assault that you or someone you know has experienced? We periodically hold Self Defense Workshops Just for Women at FSDC of Hickory. But we are available to conduct workshops for other groups, as well. We can hold them at our studio or travel to your location. Just give us a contact and we will go from there. |
